In 2023 an offset edition of the Popeye and Olive book was published by Fotokino, and available on their website.
I started this series back in 2001. I made two books for a French publisher, Cornelius, the first, Popeye and Olive, was an “abstract love story”. I rearranged the silhouetted shapes of the two characters into new combinations which became a “vocabulary of the relationship”.
The second volume, P+O, continued amorous adventures of Popeye and Olive was published in 2001.
